Coconut Peanut Butter Bombs
These little bite sized bombs are addictive! Consider yourselves warned;)
If you have followed me for any length of time, you have surely heard my rant about “treats”. A treat by definition is something you partake in on RARE occasion. The trouble we have gotten ourselves into as a society these days is we don’t know the difference between a splurge and everyday life. We are so used to having what we want, when we want it, that we have lost sight of what it means to have a little treat here and there.
Remember, you cannot claim consistency when eating clean for one week, just like you can’t claim it’s a treat when you eat it every few days!
These are a delicious, clean version of a treat and are meant to be enjoyed as a splurge.
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
- 2 tbsp virgin coconut oil
- 2 tbsp coconut peanut butter
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Mix all ingredients in medium sized bowl with hands, shape into small balls and refrigerate 30 minutes before serving. Keep in covered container in fridge to maintain freshness.
